Arriving by Air to Odense
From Copenhagen Airport (CPH) – We recommend the following choices to get to Odense:
- Train: You can take a train directly from CPH airport to Odense Central Station. Otherwise, you can take a train to Copenhagen Central Station (København H), where more options will be available.
The duration is ~1:30h, and the cost can vary in the range 70-350 DKK (10-50€). Tickets can be purchased directly at the airport, at the station, or on the website at this link. We recommend buying your tickets in advance.
Other possibilities include
- Bus: FlixBus offers bus rides all day long from Copenhagen Bus Terminal (link to Google Maps here). Duration: 2h, Cost: varies in the range 15-35€.
- Car: ~2h ride from CPH (165km) on E20 highway, passing on the Great Belt Bridge. Vehicle toll must be purchased (€35).
Arriving to SDU
Once you have arrived in Odense, to reach the University Campus we recommend taking the Letbane tramline in the direction Hjallese St. and getting down at SDU. Tickets can be purchased online here
How to get to at DIAS
With the Letbane tramline, you can arrive at DIAS getting down at both of the two following stops
- Campus Odense: enter SDU building. Walk the main corridor (Gydehutten) until you find the Krogene V intersection. Turn right and arrive to DIAS
- SDU (recommended): enter SDU building with stairs. Turn left to reach the second main vertical corridor (Stenten) and walk to the right to the end of it. Then turn left at the big intersection Krogene V and arrive to DIAS.
